Every Month is a Low Buy Month - A Haul

After a really successful February in terms of beauty purchases, March came in and obliterated any progress. It's not even the end of March yet. But I have been on vacation and bored. Yes, I blame this.

Anastasia Beverly Hills has my favorite eyeshadow formula so far, but I almost never buy individuals bc I'm cheap. In addition to Modern Renaissance, I have a few single eyeshadows from the time they had a Black Friday sale back in 2016 (one of the best, imo). I didn't get anything this past BF, but I read over at Temptalia that ABH was doing a 4 shadows for $32 deal and being the weak bitch I am, I went for it. I got Caramel, Fudge, Pink Champagne, and Soft Gold.

I was also looking to get back into wearing their Dipbrow. I had one many moons ago that ended up finding a new home with my sister, because I was so not good at applying it. Well, the other day I was feeling especially cheeky in my eyebrow skills, and decided it was time to get another. This time, though, I went with a cooler brow shade because my natural hair color is a bit cool and ashy. I also got another brow brush, because I didn't want to use my (discontinued now) brush #17 for both powders and creams. I got the Duo Brush #12, because I knew with the Dipbrow it is necessary to be as precise as celebrity PR statements. The spoolies on ABH brow brushes are always trash--so hard, so rough on my poor skin--that I'm not even gonna touch that thing. That's what my Wayne Goss spoolie brush is here for.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade in Ash Brown

Overall I'm really happy with these purchases. The shadows I picked were kinda safe but really they are colors I'm more prone to using. I'll try and update y'all on how I make this brow pomade work for my weak sparse ass brows.

x

Linda
